Dessert First Mentality

So I notice that a lot of number one habit of highly effective people is that they are always proactive with there blogs and publish there newest books. It seems like they “happen ” to the thing; instead of thing happening to them. Thought out the rest of this post we will address specific ways you can “happen” with your money so it does not control you any more through stuffitis, or the addiction to spending, and making poor investment choice or the lack of concern. But the truth is it going to be a lot of hard work and a lot of discipline and keeping your priorities in order to help keep you on the right track. I know that does not sound fun at all right, in fact, it may even sound painful, because in our world we live in we are used to getting everything we want now! It like we have forgotten how to delay the pleasure.
In the world of the of a motivational speaker BRIAN TRACY, ” we are being taught by everything around us to have DESSERT before dinner .”

Having a dessert- first mentality mind will make the rest of this post a little hard work. Do I believe that you will put the hard work in so you can make the lifestyle changes along the way, which will hurt a little? You may cut back on your spending now you bust ass at getting out of debt and saving for your future. That’s when you will need to have helped the most when you are setting up your short-term and long- term goals. By knowing what you are aiming for, you will be able to enjoy the feeling of success when you hit it and it will keep you motivated to keep reaching for high goals.
Just think about how money is active and now we need to remember that money is amoral. Do you know the saying the money is the route of all evil but in the book of 1 Timothy 6: 10, For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.
money does not make you good or bad. Having a lot of money does not make you better than someone else. What you do with your money and how you spend it does, on the other hand, tell a lot about you. You are in control or the good and evil of the money. Example if you spend your money on children researcher center for cancer or take the money and buy the newest cars. Either way, you can make a lot of money and blow it on “stuff” or you can take the time to learn how to invest for your future and give a set amount to a charity of your choice. If you want other people to know a little about you then show them what matters most to you by the way you live and how you spend time and money. So let take some time before you proceed to the next part of the planner to think carefully about your values and your priorities.
Shut your eyes and imagine someone handing you a check or cash for a million dollars. What would you do with it? After taking some time to think about it. Start by writing down your thoughts in the below. This is a good one to get the family involved by the way. It will help your children learn to define their values and what’s important in life.

Write down your top five most important priorities. What matters most to you? Does the way you spend your million dollars reflect those goals?
So take this week and keep a log of how you are spending your money. At the end of the week, evaluate how your spending reflects your goals.
