What is so common about most of the top jobs on these and other lists is the fact that most such jobs require relatively high levels of schooling and training. High earning and job security will go to those who are skilled in the job markets of today and tomorrow. There have been studies that have shown a relationship between education and earnings. Here is an example, a lifetime earning of individuals with only a high education like mine is estimated to be about one- fourth of those with a degree, such as in medicine and law, and about one-half of those with a bachelor’s degree. A person without a high school education will make about one-third of those with a degree. According to the U.S Department of labor’s for this year is about 18 of the 25 occupations with the largest and fastest employment growth, which also includes high pay and low unemployment, require at least a bachelor’s degree. These studies tend to confirm what we have known for a long time – schooling is closely related to earning: the higher the educational level, the higher the earning. Education and training also increase the career mobility of people. So in all thought the higher the education level, the greater the possibility of the career advancement and the ability to successfully change jobs and careers.
